Call for abstracts
You are invited to submit an abstract relative to the conference theme and related to the three most relevant of the sixteen topics. The conference activities will consist of contributions presented in seminars, workshops, symposiums and poster presentations. Indicate clearly the preferred activity for your contribution.
Abstracts should be brief summaries of the overall scope of a proposed paper or presentation and contain the specific ideas, concepts or experiences that will be presented, including outcomes and implications for further research and practice. An abstract should be not more than 300 words and must be submitted in English. In addition, a version of the abstract can be attached in either Dutch, French, German or Spanish, because there will be a possibility to make a presentation in one of those languages.
Abstracts essentially answer four questions
1. What is the subject of the presentation?
2. How have the author(s) approached the issue?
3. What has been discovered as a result of the experience, practice or research?
4. What can be learned or transferred?
In addition for workshop abstracts:
5. A workshop will take place at the conference venue or on the premises of a professional service provider (please state preference).
6. How will the contribution be facilitated and organised to actively engage participants?
Deadline for abstract submission: 1 December 2010
