Social Action in Europe: Sustainable Social Development and Economic Challenges
10- 13 April 2011
Social work education faces a great challenge in today’s society
How is the social domain affected by current economic pressures and challenges?
I kindly invite researchers, professionals in social policy, lecturers, educators and students, practitioners, managers and representatives of client groups - all representing the six members of ENSACT - to contribute to this topic. I am looking forward to share our ideas and communicate our thoughts at our conference in Brussels.
Nol Reverda, president ENSACT
How can we prepare students to be political actors in the world?
How to help them understand the effects of globalization on a local level and to act in a more coherent way? How to develop competences oriented to sustainable social development?
The conference will be an interesting arena to meet colleagues, practitioners, researchers, policy makers, students and to exchange reflections and experiences. It will allow participants to discuss and create new ways of sharing their teaching challenges.
Annamaria Campanini, president EASSW
Dear social educators in Europe,
The ENSACT Conference 2011 is a great opportunity for professional development and inspiration. The more we know, the stronger we grow.
Benny Anderson, president AEIJI
We consider the ENSACT Conference Brussels 2011 as an outstanding opportunity to join forces for a sustainable social Europe. To explore how we jointly can prepare students in the education to contribute to that, and how we jointly in the social professions can develop practice and research through networking.
Inge Danielsen, president FESET
